I am a certified childbirth educator through Nurturing Hearts Birth Service. Childbirth education empowers women to make informed choices in health care, to assume responsibility for their health and to trust their inner wisdom. I enjoy educating couples about the many options available surrounding the birthing process. After my classes, you will have reliable information and facts whereby you can truly make informed decisions.

In addition to being a certified childbirth educator I’m also a doula. I have experience as a Registered Nurse and I have a B.S. in Nursing. I also have had the wonderful opportunity to give birth to my four children at home and have attended several births.

My Birth Philosophy

I believe that childbirth is a very natural, normal part of a woman's life. A woman and her family can achieve their childbirth goals when lovingly supported by family, friends and birth professionals. It is my goal to help women have the birth experience that they desire through education, informed choice, and physical and emotional support.
